1st Grade Animals & Habitat Scavenger Hunt
Mrs. Merlino & Mrs. Vogt's first graders set out on their very first Animals & Habitat scavenger hunt. Students were looking for habitats for different animals, plants, and insects.
Scavenger Hunt Happiness
First graders were all smiles as they enjoyed the sunshine and crisp weather on their scavenger hunt.

Mrs. Merlino works with her student to record their habitat findings.
Students learned that in order for there to be a habitat, it has to have a source of food, water, and shelter. For example, a squirrel lives in the playground garbage can. It has food, water and shelter.) animals and plants adapt to a habitat to survive,)
